I am beaten by the storms inside me
Each wave, crushes, engulfs me
Nearly drowning my soul
Fearing nothing I let go
But my soul floats along
On the crashing waves
Each emotional attack
Nearly hurricane forces
Playing against my body
Leaving me empty, worn and entombed
Inside myself
No space for others
No reasons for sharing
And still each entrenchment
Brings with it one more
Emotional wave
To crush my spirit
To drown my soul
Leaving me alone
In the ocean of my own
Emotions.
