Weight

I carry the weight 

I carry it in my soul

I carry it in my spirit

I carry it in my tears

I carry the weight of the world

I carry it on my back

I carry it in my words

I carry it in my cries

I tried to let go of the weight

I tried to put it down

I tried to throw it away

I tried to push it deep

It nearly killed me somewhere deep inside

It drug me into the deep abyss

It pulled into the darkness

It drowned me in tears

So now I carry the weight

So now I write it down

So now I cry in words

So now I lay it down
