For the first time in my life I am sober
I am not drunk on your love
Intoxicated by your approval
Inebriated by you making me whole

My world doesn't revolve around you
My breath is not dependent on yours
My growth is not needing yours

In other words
I am sober
I am free

I am for the first time completely on my own.
