Here I am
At the bottom of the glass
If you keep going on forward
You will likely find me fast
Between the darkness and dreariness
Softening the abyss awaiting you
Bourbon, water and you
So keep on drinking me up
Swallow me down find me soon
I wait impatiently knowing you
I know you might quit before you get to me
What will I do if you don’t finish?
Where will I be without you beside me?
Misery after all loves company
And I need you to make me whole
Here I am
Waiting for you to find me again
So drink up my fine friend
Come find me before I end
For without you I am no more
I won’t be the misery at the bottom of the glass
I will just be a half-empty glass of bourbon
A pessimistic view of an already lost meaning
Missing
Idealists
Surrealistic
Empathetic
Realistic
Yearning
