The mask must hide the beast within.
It must not reveal my soul again.
I cannot face the world alone.
I have no faith.
No faith in me alone.
I always have and always will,
fail myself from within.
Forgive me love, for hiding my face.
It is done to protect you from me and my shame.
If the mask hides me no more.
The beast inside shall be
Tattered and torn.
My love does not see the shame I must hide.
She only see's the good that I hide.
Deeper and deeper far, far inside.
Behind the mask is where I must hide.
This I must swear till I die.
