Grease paint under your fingernails
The smell of stale sweat encrusted costumes
Painting sets at 2 am
Odd two dimensional shapes
Big enough to see from the audience
Early call on Friday's for dress rehearsal
Opening night just around the corner
Late night parties at the local pizza joint
Closing the place down, making the staff laugh
Then to bed for tomorrow it all begins again.
